Especially for those who say "oh, I saw your new house, it is so nice"... We didn't take it :-O We have figured that all the work that needs to be done in it is going to stretch the budget a
little too much, so we have changed our minds. And that means, back to searching the internet for houses! I don't mind that part, because I love looking at houses!!!
I have a major lack of scrap mojo these days, too preoccupied with other things I guess! But I do have one LO to show that I made in the beginning of June. It shows Naomi and Alban on the camping
in May, I love it when they are friends like that!
PP Rouge de Garance, Letters American Crafts, stamps (the little pirates on the bottom) "Get Inspired, De Creatie".
TFL and please leave your comments!!

It's been a while! And with reasons :) first of all I have hardly done any scrapbooking these last weeks... too busy with other things. That actuall does NOT deserve a :) I am currently doing a LO,
but it seems to take forever!!!
The main reason of my busy busy -ness is that we are in the process of buying a new house and preparing a move to the south of France :D That does deserve a smiley!! We spent 4 days "over there" to
look at houses and actually found a perfect one on the first day there, our "coup de coeur". Just take a look at this:
Isn't it beautiful!! It is a scan of an A4 we got from the real estate agent... because I lost almost ALL pictures I took when I was there... so enraging! I really don't know what happened, but
they were all gone when I wanted to transfer them to my computer :( Oh yes, defenately a sad smiley there...
That's about all news I can think of for now... OH Yes, defenately a HAPPY smiley for the Dutch soccer team that has beaten Italy 3-0 yesterday :D The best match ever ;)
Have a good day all!

Yes, THEY did it, both! On Alban's small bike WITHOUT sidewheels, first Naomi confidently cycled away and after that, Alban gave it a go too. He had tried (and managed) before, but had been scared
and hesitant, but yesterday, he did the whole street without the sidewheels! After that, Naomi also managed on her own, bigger bike. Yesterday, I DID think of taking my camera, so here are the
promised pictures:
I'm proud! And happy, because bikes without sidewheels take a lot less space in the garage! Now we'll have to find a way to keep the bikes upright, when parked :-)

I am proud to announce that Naomi now knows how to cycle without the two
little sidewheels on the bike ! Since yesterday
J We had removed the
sidewheels from Albans bike, he masters a little but is still scared, and were surprised to see that within minutes, Naomi knew how to do it and cycled as if she had been doing without sidewheels
forever! Of course, as it took us by surprise, I didn’t have my camera with me, I missed a GREAT opportunity! But well, I’ll try tonight! I’m so proud of her! My little biker girl
J I hope to show
pictures tomorrow!
That is about the most important news this week. BUT, I have of course a
little layout to show, made for the monthly contest at classyscrappers.com. Based on a sketch, PP DreamStreet paper (I’m a fan!):
Thanks for stopping by, thanks for leaving a
comment and see you soon!

I have a couple more layouts to show, two of which made before leaving for Holland and 2 that I made yesterday:
Naomi at the beach in Holland in March 2008, with
my parents and me. It was COLD but we had a great time! I don't remember who made the patterned papers...
This layout shows old pictures from
2005, when Naomi has organised a big dinner party for her Little People. Made for a challenge on classyscrappers.com. PP: Scenic Route, Letters: American Crafts.
Another layout made for a challenge on classyscrappers.com. PP Basic Grey. We had to use tags and frames. Pictures taken during our stay in Holland in April.
I love these pictures of Alban! I also love the combination of Kraft paper and light-green.
Well, that's about it, thanks for looking!

Back from Holland, where I spent 3 sad weeks. I have had to say goodbye to my sweet mother who died on May 3d. I'll miss her terribly, but am happy she doesn't
suffer anymore and grateful to have been able to spend here last days and even seconds with her. Ik hou van je mama.
Picture taken during a weekend in March that we (Naomi and I) spend with her and dad, one of the last pictures I have of her and therefore a sweet memory:

I'm husband-less for a weekend, so I'm scrapping :-) Well, that and entertaining the kids of course! The weather is quite good here (the snow melted quite quickly), so we have a good time. Naomi is
invited to a b-day party tomorrow and is sooo looking forward to it! Alban is angry with me because I told him he can't go :-(
This is a layout made for a new challenge on the Classycoordinates message board, the new challenge is all about techniques and for the first we had to use paint on our layout and sand the
photo edges. It is also for a challenge on Scrappingthemusic challenge blog, hence the (complicated) title which come from the song Turn it up from Aaron Lines.

This LO was made for the scrapmojo challenge blog.
The challenge was to use Office Lingo (Memo and CC: in this case) and office supplies. This was fun to do!
TFL!

Easter is way behind us, so it is about time to give you some news! We're way into April, the sun is shining but what did I wake up to this morning? SNOW!!!! Can you believe that? Not a
whole lot of it, but still... The kids were, of course, delighted, I'm not because I want sunshine and HOT weather! Here are some pictures taken with my mobile phone near my office:
Last Friday I went to Version Scrap, a scrap convention in Paris. I took two classes, one from
Tena Sprenger and one from
Céline Navarro and I loved it! I cannot show you the projects we made yet, because I haven't been able to finish them yet, but I can tell you I
had a great time. Tena was sooo nice and I loved meeting Céline, she is fun! To be continued...
I did do some scrap at home :-) First let me show you a layout made for a scraplift challenge on
Classy Coordinates:

Featuring Naomi playing Super Mario on the
Nintendo DS. PP Cosmo Cricket. The picture is quite bad quality and doesn't show the real colors! Also used Ranger Stickles, Toga Craft Cardstock and Chipboard letters from I don't know
who...
Next layout was made for a Scrapjack on the scrapjacked challenge
blog:
Featuring Alban doing one of his silly faces. He loves the digital camera (doesn't know any other camera!!!), he does a face for the picture and almost before snapping the picture he
runs to the camera to see it! No PP, Bazzill Cardstock, Autumn Leaves Clear Stamps, ghost shapes from I don't remember which company, Title American Craft Thickers and Craft robo.
Thanks for stopping by at my blog!

My Easter morning began with a little girl standing next to my bed, chocolate all around her mouth, saying "mom, the bells have been at our house" (in France they have bells that distribute the
eggs, instead of bunnies!) No kidding :-O The weatherforcast was disastrous (cold, rain and even snow was announced) so I had hidden the eggs in our living room. BUT of course, the sky was
perfectly blue and the garden would have been perfect for the egghunt! I didn't even take pictures of the little egghunt in the house! Later on we went to the grandparents and the bells had been
there too, in the garden, so I did get some nice pictures!
The easter lunch was very nice, the afternoon was very lazy, everyone seemed to be tired. All in all we had a nice day!
Time to show some more layouts!
This one was made for a challenge issued by a friend from the classyscrappers website, I had to use 3 pictures, felt and pastel colors for spring.
This is
Alban at the age of 7 and 8 weeks, LO made for a scraplift challenge.
And finally a LO made for a
challenge on the Inspired by Amelie blog. This is a challenge blog with challenges inspired by the film "Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie
Poulain". The first challenge was to make a layout inspired by the movie. When I read about the blog I immediately wanted to do this, but I admit I had a hard time coming up with an idea. I
finally decided to make a layout about an innocent view on the world (like Amélie), by taking the pictures made by Naomi. I also inspired my title on the movie, obviously, and I used the
photomaton idea. PP SEI citruskick.
Thanks for stopping by at my blog and Happy Easter to everyone!
